Early maturing, high-yielding red and mild pepper.
An early, prolific, and mildly sweet Lombardo specialty, ideal for stuffing or preserving. Also delicious fresh. The dark red berries grow to about 15 cm long, without being sharp and with a sweet flavor.
The plants have a medium-tall growth habit and can be grown both outdoors and in a greenhouse. They are also suitable for cultivation in a 15-liter container.
Bell peppers/chillies need warmth. Best location: full sun in a south-facing position or in a plastic greenhouse.
Keep the soil evenly moist, but not too wet. Fertilize regularly and use humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil.
Sow from early January to early March at 20–25°C, using a warm sowing indoors. Transplant in a greenhouse or outdoors from mid-May at a spacing of 50 x 50 cm. Depending on the cultivation method, harvest from late June.
Peppers are sensitive to frost.
Height outside approx. 50 cm, higher in the greenhouse.
