A very large, elongated pepper that changes color from green to red and weighs about 400 grams.
Excellent for stuffing, but also for use in salads or eating raw.
Fairly compact growth, about 60 cm tall, also thrives in a large pot in a warm location. A stake for support is recommended.
Very productive with compact fruit set.
Sow from February to March at 22–24°C, transplant from mid-May at a spacing of 40 x 60 cm. Harvest from July to early October.
Keep the soil evenly moist, but not too wet. Fertilize regularly and use humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil. Bell peppers need warmth. Best location: full sun in a south-facing position or in a polytunnel.
Peppers are sensitive to frost.
Height outside approx. 50–60 cm, higher in the greenhouse.
