High yielding pepper that grows very well outdoors.
The small, block-shaped fruits are about 8–10 cm long and 3–4 cm wide.
Fairly early and prolific, making this variety also very suitable for large pots on balconies and terraces (15 litre pots).
Ripens from green to red, ideal as a snack.
As a heat-requiring pepper, Rela also grows well in a greenhouse.
Sow from February to March at 22–24°C, transplant from mid-May at a spacing of 40 x 60 cm. Harvest from mid-August.
Keep the soil evenly moist, but not too wet. Fertilize regularly and use humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil. Bell peppers need warmth. Best location: full sun in a south-facing position or in a polytunnel.
Peppers are sensitive to frost.
Height outside about 50–60 cm, higher in the greenhouse.
