Oda is a compact, early pepper with purple-violet fruits.
The thick-walled, medium-sized fruits are block-shaped, tapered and color from purple to brown-red.
Thanks to its compact and early growth, Oda is well-suited for warm outdoor locations or cultivation in a polytunnel. Oda also thrives in large planters.
Sow from February to March at 22–24°C, transplant from mid-May at a spacing of 40 x 60 cm. Harvest from mid-August.
Keep the soil evenly moist, but not too wet. Fertilize regularly and use humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil. Peppers need warmth. Best location: full sun in a south-facing position or in a polytunnel.
Peppers are sensitive to frost.
Height outside approximately 60–70 cm, higher in the greenhouse.
