Strong red cabbage.
Langedijker Bewaar is a robust, medium-sized red cabbage that is characterised by a long period in the field and good storability.
Due to its rapid growth, this variety is also suitable for cultivation in less favourable climates, such as in low mountain areas.
Like all types of cabbage, it needs a lot of nutrients.
The harvest takes place from early August, depending on the sowing date.
Sow from February to the end of May using pre-sowing, then transplant at a distance of 60 x 50 cm.
Red cabbage is a heavy eater and must be supplied with sufficient nutrients.
