A charming, delicate and airy annual daisy, often used in summer borders, hanging baskets, patio and balcony boxes, in containers, window boxes and sometimes in composite annual flower mixtures.

This adaptable species often grows in poor and sandy soil and is tolerant of coastal conditions.

It produces an abundance of beautiful daisy flowers, ranging from light purple-pink and light blue-purple to deeper pink-purples and violets, often with yellow-green centres that can turn bronze-brown over time.

It flowers in full sun throughout the summer and into early autumn on an upright, but sometimes rather drooping, plant with attractive, finely incised mid-green leaves.
