Description

Yellow-green leaf Swiss chard.

Compact, fast-growing Swiss chard for autumn cultivation. The plants have a compact, upright habit and dark green, leathery leaves on white stems.

Jessica weighs approximately 0.7–1 kg and can be harvested whole. It is recommended to grow outdoors from July in successive batches for harvesting from September to November/December. It is also suitable for cold greenhouses as a suitable secondary crop for harvesting from late January.

Sow directly outdoors from early July, spaced 2–3 seeds 30 x 40 cm apart. Sowing indoors and transplanting is also possible. Harvest period: approximately 8–10 weeks after sowing.

Swiss chard needs a good nutritional supply.
