Compact Swiss chard for continuous or one-time harvest.
Compact, fast-growing Swiss chard for autumn cultivation. The plants have a compact, upright habit and dark green, leathery leaves on white stems. Can be harvested entirely or continuously from the outside in. It is recommended to grow in successive sets for harvesting well into autumn. Also suitable for cold frames as a suitable secondary crop for harvesting until January.
Sowing takes place from the beginning of July as direct outdoor sowing at a distance of 40 x 20 cm.
Swiss chard needs a good nutritional supply.
