Intense purple-red, mildly aromatic onion
Magnate F1 produces purple-red bulbs weighing approximately 140 grams. The bulbs ripen mid-late, approximately 130 days after sowing. Magnate F1 keeps very well and tends not to sprout during storage. It has a very attractive cross-section with red rings.
Sow directly outdoors in rows from February to April. Approximately 8–10 cm apart, with 25 cm between rows.
Fully ripe onions are harvested from mid-August.
